| LAKE JORDAN POINTS TOURNAMENT MAY 17TH |
 With
gas prices soaring and Jordan being the farthest lake on our schedule I
was afraid we wouldn't have much of a tournament. But the die hards
came through and we had enough boats to pay out two places. Tim and
Shane paid for gas with a 10.10 sack. Tim had the big fish honors with
3.8. All of their fish were spots caught "all over" the lake. This is
the first year these guys have fished tournaments and are really doing
well. Heath and Clint did pretty darn good as well. The boat didn't
break, nobody had any allergic reactions and they managed to bring 7.8
to the scales to win next to the best. Congratulations guys. I think
Clint's secret was the sunglasses. Now his girlfriend will never get
them back! Worth mentioning is Lance Holmes. Lance has been
consistantly putting fish in the boat and is leading our angler of the
year board with 200 points. Thanks to everyone who showed up, it made for a good day on the lake | | | LAY LAKE SIDE TOURNAMENT MAY 4TH |
What
a great day to be on the lake! There was a pretty good turn out
considering the short notice. Nine boats signed up and we all weighed
fish. Kerry and his partner Adams took home first place winnings with
11.12 pounds. These guys own this lake so watch out! We had two fish
weigh in at over 5 pounds. With one of them being Justin and Martha's
money fish (Martha was kind enough to let Justin pose with her fish
above) They left with a little more money in their pocket after placing
second with 10.14. I hope everyone had as good of a day as I did. Even
though about everything that could go wrong with my boat did, getting
to weigh all the good fish caught and hanging out with everyone made it
all worth it. See you guys next time.

Lance Holmes Takes Home the Money
It
was a tough day on Logan and you could tell it by the fish that were
weighed in or rather the lack of fish. The turn out was good and
we paid out three places and 60 bucks went into the classic pot. Scott
Phillips had the big fish honors with a MONSTER spot weighing 2lbs!
Our
next points tournament will be May 17th at Jordan. If these gas prices
haven't got you landlocked and you want to fish some side
tournaments post over in the message boards and we will set
something up.
